UFN is a networking website for fashion designers, events, and boutiques. I designed, built and maintain the website (it is currently being redesigned with Drupal). In my spare time I also write for the website and four fashion blogs. To keep the content fresh and exciting I cover most Seattle fashion events and photograph them for the website.
Technical Producer & Web Designer at Classmates.com, Seattle, Jan. 2005 — Nov. 2009
My primary design focus was on Email and Marketing & Promotions features. The emails I designed went out to over 24+ million Classmates members. Many of those designs resulted in high click through rates and a boost in subscriptions which meant more money for the company. I also redesigned the Classmates Intranet to help employees learn more about the company, lead a company wide re-branding which resulted to all new print materials and worked on an in-house video to introduce Classmates moving to Seattle to its current employees.
Web Producer at MSN Entertainment, Microsoft (contract), Seattle, June 2003 — Jan. 2005
I was responsible for multiple time sensitive projects on the live site which required a quick turn around and attention to detail. Several of my duties included updating HTML, copy writing, photo manipulation and created Weekly MSN Newsletters and attending numerous meetings to help formulate new ideas. When I left it took 3 people to take over my role as I had taken on numerous projects.
